As soon techology was discovered it became the big boom.

More and more phones coming out soon.

Instead of hearing a ring it became a ding.

Automatically you look down at your phone screen?

All you start searching for is a new meme

When did this become the new trend?

This is when human interaction firmly started to end.

Instead of conversation face to face we started meeting people on a data base.

What happened to actually meaning words we speak?

Now all I hear about is a new tweet.

I still have no idea what that means.

I try to live in the moment and appreciate the scenery

When I look around anywhere all I see are people staring at a screen

All i see is scrolling and selfie fiends.

No more real talk or appreciating to our world

Even though it has gotten so cold

We have created a new way to mistreat

We created cyberbullying to the extreme.

So I plead you too just look around

There is more to discover & to be found

Follow your interests and dreams

Articulate the arts you perceive

Face the world we live in today

There will be more problems that will concave

Enjoy the moments and memories

Components that never leave

We will never be able choose what stays and fades away

So live in the moment if you may

We all have battles and struggles

It is just a piece of our puzzle

Now listen here and listen good

What happened to peace, kindness, and respect?

Why are these the issues we choose to neglect?

We choose to ignore what is right in front of us

Even though we trust

Every situation has pros and cons

All emotions have songs

Now it is your turn to listen and create

It is up to you to make your own fate

Never let anyone dictate

All this world has come to is categories that discriminate

Look at yourself is this what you want to be known for?

Tearing eachother apart to the core?

There have been so many deaths and suicides I can’t even keep score

Stigmas and stereotypes now just roar

I believe there's still much to explore

Instead of being consumed by technology and gore
